Gerald King, Head Coach Atlanta Invaders

Gerald King, a distinguished figure in the basketball world, has dedicated his life to the game as a player, coach, and leader. A Murfreesboro, Tennessee native, Gerald was inducted into the Oakland High School Basketball Hall of Fame for his outstanding contributions as a four-year starter, leading his team to multiple state semifinals. He began his collegiate career at Coastal Carolina University, where he was named Big South Conference Sixth Man of the Year as a freshman, before transferring to Middle Tennessee State University. At MTSU, he continued to excel, earning the title of OVC Sixth Man of the Year in 1998.

After an impressive collegiate career, Gerald advanced to the professional level, playing and coaching in the NBA Developmental League. His passion for developing talent and fostering teamwork has been a hallmark of his coaching journey. Beyond the court, Gerald is the CEO of Kings All Stars, a nonprofit organization that empowers young athletes through travel ball and AAU teams. Under his leadership, Kings All Stars has become a beacon of opportunity, mentorship, and community engagement for aspiring basketball players.

Now, Gerald King is joining the successful Atlanta Aliens Pro Basketball Team under the helm of General Manager and Head Coach Duck Richards. With this new chapter, Gerald is poised to bring his wealth of experience and leadership to further elevate the Atlanta Aliens’ success. In Additional duties, Gerald King will be the Head Coach of the Atlanta Invaders, a developmental team for the Atlanta Aliens.
