Meet #8 Jarrell Tate
  • Height: 6’4
  • Weight: 215lbs
  • Position: Guard
  • College: Bethesda University
  • Major: Computer Science IT

🏀 Jarrell is a native of Dolomite, AL. If his college career was any indication, then the Atlanta Aliens may have struck gold. Despite spending time with three different schools from 2014-2017, the six-foot-four guard still found success wherever he played. At Feather River College, Tate’s 24.6 points a night led the Golden Eagles to the Conference Championship. After capturing another Conference Title at East Los Angeles Huskies, Tate pursued a Division II career at Bethesda University where he put up 17.4 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists. One thing for certain,

Tate doesn’t lack confidence. Tate also spent the last two summers in the Drew League where he gained invaluable experience playing alongside and against some of the best talent in the world, including that of the NBA. Prior to joining the Atlanta Aliens, Tate played professionally in the NBL Canada with the Island Storm. We are honored to have him as an Alien where he became an instant ABA All-Star. Testimonies

As the CEO/GM of the Atlanta Aliens in the ABA, Duck Richards has run an excellent organization on and off the court, professional, dependable on and off the court. He is well respected and a great leader. It is a pleasure having Duck in the ABA.

  • - Joe Newman, ABA Commissioner

There are many coaches who coach because they love coaching. Coach Duck coaches because he loves people and the people he coaches love him. It only takes a moment in his presence to recognize his exemplary approach to coaching and a day in his presence you will acknowledge his extraordinary pedagogical acumen to life.

- Rev. Dr. J. Livingston

Coach Duck has a wide range network. His experience an no non-sense coaching style puts him a step above his competition. Duck works well with the community and the parents. Duck comes highly recommended and will be a game changer where ever he is.

- Pastor, Coach Anthony McKissic

I highly recommend Coach Duck Richards in the area of coaching basketball at any level from high school to professional level. Having known him for over 30 years, dating back to our annual wars in US Marines East Coast Regionals as players, we have both transferred our own basketball prowess into coaching the next generations in this sport. As outlined in his resume, it is obvious as to the positive impact that he has had on a multitude of players. During my college coaching stints, my relationship with Coach Duck only grew via his Griffin Grasshopper's program. He has sent countless players to college via this program that have proved his players were more than ready for the college athletics level both on and off the court. Once again, Coach Duck Richards, his work is legendary!!!

- Reggie Anderson, College Basketball Coach

Duck is a generous person who gives much of his time to youth. He is committed and can be counted upon for coaching advice and counsel.
